PORTLAND MAGIC JAM 2012
Sept weekend to be announced
Friday evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday 'till 4pm.

   Gregory Wilson

Greg is a 2-time award winner in FISM (the “Magic Olympics” held in Europe every 3 years), and has also been awarded the “Most Creative Magician” by the Int’l Brotherhood of Magicians.

Most importantly, he has released 12 bestselling instructional DVDs which describe his original effects. He is primarily known for his contributions to impromptu magic with everyday objects - thus his teachings avoid “hard core magic”, and focus instead on practical effects & techniques everyone can use.

His lecture has been getting rave reviews across the country, and we’re lucky to have gotten him for our event!

       Daniel Garcia

Daniel is a Texas-based magician who's known for his creative approach to magic, as well as his off-the-wall relaxed performance style.

He is one of the head magic consultants for David Blaine, and spends his remaining time performing and lecturing at conventions like ours.

He has created a myriad of astounding effects which have inspired the top names in magic to seek him out for advice. If that last sentence seemed a bit much, then brace yourself for this next one: when referring to Garcia, we are kindly asked to use the term: "Senor Mexi-Melt", or "El D'Licious"…

Contrary to popular belief, Garcia has never "single-handedly wrestled a wildebeest", "refused a kiss from Jessica Alba" or "beat Chuck Norris in a game of checkers".  But he has come close on each account…

      Jon Armstrong
Jon is a master of card magic. But even more important, he's renowned for his ability to teach tricks which are within everyone’s grasp to do! His lectures address this, as well as teaching how to add humor and entertainment value to your own magic.  (He was recently honored with a nomination for “Lecturer of the Year” by the Academy of Magic Arts.)

If you’ve seen his regular video columns on Reel Magic, you know what a treat Jon is.  His personable style, vast array of knowledge, and passion for teaching magic make him a genuine stand out.

Jon brings some great experience to the table. At 20 years old, he was brought in by Epcot to become the resident magician at DisneyWorld. After doing that for 5 years, he became a reoccurring headliner at Caesar’s Magic Empire in Las Vegas.  He has since worked as a consultant and designer for such TV and film projects as “The Mentalist” and “Spiderman 3”.  He now lives in Los Angeles, where he is a resident performer at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood (where he has been awarded “Close Up Magician of the Year”!)
